This Class at Taicang Graduated!

On 25 October, the graduation ceremony for the second  Sino-German CEO Class, themed ‘Integrating 、Sino-German Wisdom to Empower Corporate Futures’, was held at the Municipal Cultural Exchange Centre. Xu Huadong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Wang Xinrong, Vice Dean of School of Education, SJTU, attended the event.
Xu Huadong remarked that Taicang's cooperation with Germany has evolved from a fortuitous beginning to an inevitable progression, encompassing everything from its natural environment and business climate to its industrial landscape and cultural DNA. The collaborative path between German enterprises in Taicang and local private firms has similarly advanced from early-stage simple coordination and support to the current phase of innovative synergy and integrated development. Since its inception, the Sino-German CEO Class has undergone two sessions, with its curriculum continually refined and services steadily optimised, thereby providing greater impetus for fostering the integrated development of Chinese and German enterprises.
Xu Huadong emphasised that government departments must diligently implement all business-friendly policies, continue fostering a first-rate business environment, and further refine enterprise services – addressing common issues through policy measures while assisting with individual concerns. We shall continue to enhance the Sino-German CEO Class, ensuring its curriculum advances progressively and its community facilitates better networking, thereby enabling value-added services to deliver tangible benefits and truly achieve ‘a seamless integration of investment in physical assets and investment in human capital’. We must persist in building platforms, organising events, driving applications, and cultivating ecosystems, while intensifying efforts to ‘foster deep integration between technological innovation and industrial innovation.’ Entrepreneurs serve as ambassadors for Sino-German cooperation and stand as our city's foremost partners. We shall spare no effort in providing robust support services to nurture entrepreneurs' professional development and propel the growth of their enterprises.
In his Speech, Wang Xinrong stated that the Sino-German CEO Class represents a profound convergence of ideas and practice. Looking ahead, School of Education, SJTU will collaborate with all parties in Taicang to focus on facilitating the international expansion of private enterprises and the deepening of German companies' market presence. This will involve establishing a higher-level platform for resources and cooperation, thereby further advancing the integrated development of Chinese and German enterprises.
At the event, representatives from both Chinese and German mentors and trainees delivered speeches. Awards were presented for outstanding theses, and certificates of completion were conferred upon the trainees. The advanced programme for the third cohort of the Sino-German CEO Advanced Course was also promoted.
Ni Jiazhen, Yan Guoqiang and Tang Wenying, municipal leaders of Taicang City, attended the event.
